AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Aligned with the 2025 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC, the PALS course aims to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes. The course uses a series of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, and effective resuscitation team dynamics. Key Learning Outcomes • Pediatric Assessment: Mastering the "Evaluate-Identify-Intervene" model for pediatric patients. • Respiratory Emergencies: Recognition and management of upper/lower airway obstructions and lung tissue disease. • Shock Management: Identification and treatment of compensated and hypotensive shock. • Cardiac Rhythms: Recognition and management of pediatric bradycardia and tachycardia \(stable and unstable\). • Pharmacology: Pediatric-specific dosing and administration of emergency medications. • Post-Resuscitation Care: Stabilization and transfer of pe Lakeland.
